You're invited to celebrate National Trails Day with us on Saturday, June 4, 2011. Runners, walkers, and ultras will commemorate the old railroad by passing through bell standards in each town on the way to the sea. Be sure to attend the bell-ringing in your town! The schedule below will help you know when racers will be coming through.

Start Times (at Rainier, Mountaineers' parking lot 1/2 mile from park)

7:30 am : Solo walkers* & 50M ultras
8:00 am : Teams of 2 walkers* & teams of 2 runners*
8:00 am : Teams of 3 walkers* & teams of 3 runners*
8:00 am : Teams of 6 walkers* & teams of 4 runners*
8:30 am : Teams of 6 runners*
* or pairs, e.g. a team of "3 walkers" might have up to 6 people, walking 2 legs each in pairs.

10:00 am : 50K ultras

8:05 am   : Fairfax (Manley Moore Bridge)
8:55 am   : Carbonado (SR165 and Pershing St.)
9:25 am   : Wilkeson (Trailhead across from Fire Station)
10:00 am : So. Prairie 50K start (Trailside Connections Espresso)
10:35 am : Crocker (Trailhead)
10:55 am : Orting (Foothills Trail kiosk in the park)
11:20 am : McMillin (Scholz Farm on SR 162 north of the Puyallup River bridge)
11:45 am : Meeker (Trailhead on 80th St. E near the Van Lierop Bulb Farm)
12:05 pm : Puyallup (Meridian Bridge in the Tiffany's parking lot)
12:30 pm : Fife (Saddle Creek along N. Levee Road)
1:00 pm   : Tacoma (Museum of Glass on esplanade)
1:30 pm   : Ruston Way (Marine Park finish line near the Lobster Shop) 

Awards Ceremony (Marine Park on Ruston Way)
4:30 pm : Awards ceremony and team & family picnics (The average arrival time at Ruston Way for walkers and runners is around 4 pm.)
