Take on the challenge of R2R solo! For 2019 we have rebooted the 50M distance! Please note: the solo option is unsupported, meaning the race does not provide aid stations, and the runner is responsible for providing their own support for the event.

  • Solo runners must have completed a qualifying race and submit proof of completion (link to race results) on their registration form. The qualifying race date must be January 1, 2018 or later (we will not accept results from earlier than 2018). Any of the following can by used as a qualifying race: Completion of a marathon in 5 hours or less, completion of a 50k in six hours or less, completion of a 50 miler.

  • Solo runners are required to provide their own support and aid. The race will not provide any food or water for solo runners.

  • Solo runners are required to have a crew/support vehicle to monitor them and provide aid. The crew/support vehicle may stop to provide aid at official relay exchange points.

  • Solo runners required to start in Wave A at 6AM. Solo runners are subject to a 13 hour cut-off and must complete the distance by 7PM.

  • Solo runners’ registrations are not final until approved by race director. If submitted race results fail to meet the above requirements the registration will be rejected and refunded (less registration service fees).
