Team Management

Please follow the instructions below depending on your situation.

  • The Team Captain first creates the team and pays the registrations fees. The Captain is responsible for the full payment and the team can talk amongst themselves to square up payment with each other, please don’t ask us for help on this part of the fun!

    During registration, pick your wave based on overall average team pace, use our spreadsheet calculator highlighted BELOW under WAVE TIMES to help you choose.

    After registration, the Captain will invite Team members to join, this is a good time to ask your runner for the funds.

  • Provided that groups are enabled for the event you are signing up for, then during the registration process, you will be given the option to create a new group.

    IMPORTANT: If you do not see this option, then groups are not currently enabled for that particular event.

    1. Navigate to the Race Page of the race

    2. Click Sign Up to begin the registration process

    3. Enter in all participant information

    4. Select Yes under the question Would You like to join a Group/Team (if applicable; not all events have this question enabled)

    5. Select Create New Group/Team

    6. Select a Group/Team Type

    7. Type in a Group/Team Name

    8. If prompted, select a Group/Team Gender and Age Group

    9. If prompted, you may create an Group/Team Password (sometimes this is required)

    10. Click Continue

  • Join a Group During Registration 

    1. Navigate to the Run Signup R2R page

    2. Click Sign Up to begin the registration process

    3. Enter in all participant information

    4. Select your event

    5. Answer "Yes" for the question "Would you like to join a Team?"

    6. Click Continue

    7. Select the group/team you would like to join from the drop down menu

    8. If a password is required, enter in the password your Group Administrator set.

      **Remember passwords are case sensitive.**

    Join a Group After Registration

    1. Sign In to RunSignUp

    2. Go to your Profile

    3. Navigate to Upcoming Events.

    4. Click Manage Registration next to the registration you would like to add to a team

    5. Click Group/Team on the left-hand sidebar

    6. From the pop-up select Join Existing Group/Team

    7. Either select a Group/Team from the dropdown or Search Groups/Teams

    8. Click Continue
